The hosts of the World Championship must be selected by lot in an attempt to avoid corruption, said one of the leaders in the German soccer, Hans-Joachim Watzke.
The director at Borussia Dortmund offered the choice to be made among applicants who already have been approved and undergone preliminary tests.
`The Committee can decide whether to host nominations to be approved. By lottery among the adopted countries can be selected and the hosts. Such actions should reduce corruption.`, said Watzke in front of the press.
The host of the World Cup in 2026 will be chosen by the FIFA Congress in less than 12 months.
