The former left-back of Inter Alex Telles confirmed that he would accept a call-up to the Italian national football team if he gets one.
The player of Porto was born in Brazil, but thanks to his predecessors he has also an Italian passport. Recently, on the Apennines, there was information that Italy is exploring options to benefit from the services of Telles.
`If I agreed to play for Italy? Yes, of course. I`m Italian and because of my predecessors, I feel that way. It is now necessary to concentrate on my work in Porto. If I do well here, something might happen.`, said Telles.
`While I was in Italy, in practice I focused more on the opponents. Here in Portugal, it is better - we are in the center. Soccer is faster and more open.`, he added.
