Football predictions Eddie Jordan: Horrible sprints should be banned immediately, and if left, then only for young drivers

Jordan advocated for a fundamental change in sprints in F1.
Former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan has spoken strongly negatively about the sprint weekends and suggested excluding the participation of the main drivers in them.

There are a lot of young pilots who are giving up because it is very difficult to get into the field.

And I came up with a little scheme. I hate sprints, I think they are terrible and should be banned immediately. However, if we keep them, then please let the sprints be for young riders who have completed less than ten Grands Prix.

You can give young people a chance to compete among themselves, and we, the fans, can really look into the future and see the potential, " Eddie said on the Formula for Success podcast.

Jordan`s co-host and former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard seconded the proposal:

This would avoid situations where a young F2 driver receives a full-fledged contract and does not produce results advised by football livescore . It would be visible on sprint weekends. I don`t want to name names on this particular podcast unless you force me to.

Come on, it`s unlikely you won`t be able to make up your mind, David, " Eddie responded.

Latifi, currently Logan Sargent. Latifi has not reached the level that his youth formula career might have suggested. Sargent hasn`t reached Alex Albon`s level.

Probably, over the course of several sprints this can be discovered, because F1 is very different from any other formula. There is different pressure, everything is different. Tension, pressure, attention. Some people just aren`t suited for this, " David concluded.
