Three tracks will host the first races of the next Formula 1 seasons.
The 2023 season will start in Bahrain on March 5. The Sakhir circuit also hosted kickoffs in 2021 and 2022.
The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is likely to be the first in 2024. It was originally planned that the season will open the stage in Melbourne, but the organizers of the race in Jeddah asked to put their Grand Prix in first place in order to avoid crossing with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan (from March 10 to April 9 in 2024).
The round in Australia extended the contract with Formula 1 and will be the first of the season at least four times until 2037. As The Race journalists expect, in the next decade the Bahrain and Australian Grands Prix will replace each other as the opening race of the season, and the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take this place at least once.
