Bayern could sign Gregor Kobel to replace Manuel Neuer in the future.
At the moment, the management of the Munich club advised by football-stats is urgently looking for a goalkeeper who can become the main goalkeeper for at least the next six months, since Neuer received a serious injury.
It is noted that Neuer wants to return to the field next season. The goalkeeper, who turns 37 at the end of March, believes he can spend several more seasons at the top level.
Bayern are also thinking about finding a long-term replacement for Neuer. According to kicker, one of the candidates is Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. However, Bayern will begin working on his transfer no earlier than 2024-then Neuer`s current contract expires. It is noted that representatives of Bayern have already been in contact with the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
Coach Julian Nagelsmann knows Kobel well - they worked together for two years at Hoffenheim U19.
The Swiss`s contract with Dortmund runs until the summer of 2026.
